I have been studying Japanese on my own for the past few months but I am looking to become more serious about it and I'd like to become proficient in Japanese soon.
I have been to Japan twice and I would like to learn the language for personal reasons, as opposed to career goals.
I'm interested in learning how to read and write and I'd also like to be able to hold a conversation.
I'm able to meet 1-2 times per week, as I am also currently enrolled in another program of study and I work part-time. Still, I am able to devote a lot of energy to learning.
I'd like a teacher who can explain concepts clearly and who can help me with pronunciation , reading and writing.

- I'm a beginner, I've been only learning Hiragana & Katakana on my own amd know a few words... but other than that totally new to the language.
- My girlfriend is Japanese and fluent in Spanish & English, I guess you could call I'm learning this as self defense...
- I work in the day time, but my evenings and weekends are fairly open, I do travel a lot to Asia & South America.
- I need to be able to converse and hae apretty good idea of proper grammar
