Hello,
I'm looking to take the JLPT N4 next December 2014 and am looking for a, preferably, native Japanese speaker that can help me work towards this goal. I will continue with lessons after achievement of the N4 and wish to achieve a N1 level within the next 3-4years. My current proficiency is beginner having taken only Japanese 101 a year ago, I'm rather rusty. I'm looking for about 2hrs a week of instruction or what it takes to make passing the N4 in December necessary. I'd like face to face lessons meeting at a coffee shop or similar setting. Looking for mostly grammar instruction and test prep.

The reason I am looking for a tutor of both Japanese and Korean is because I will be studying abroad to both country in one year therefore I need to master the first two level very quickly. I study Japanese as a hobby because I find the language beautiful and think Japan is a very interesting country which I hope to visit some day. I have been self-studying for around 2.5 years on and off. I am a beginner with a pretty solid foundation in basic grammar/vocab ulary, but as I self-study my speaking skills are very weak. I am looking for conversationa lly focused courses to work on speaking as it is the one area you absolutely cannot self study! I would like to have an hour a week lessons but plan to spend a number of additional hours studying on my own. I would prefer a native teacher but if that is not possible, anyone friendly and patient willing to speak with me in Japanese. :)
