I am a complete beginner with no knowledge of Japanese and I've been trying to learn off the internet. I plan on traveling to Japan this summer for a month homestay and I really feel the need to know basic Japanese so I can have simple conversation and be able to grow and expand on what I know to become more skilled in the language. I am 16 years old and am in highschool. I would like to dedicate 1-3 lessons a week. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and understanding .

24 year old from London, currently a —¯Šw¶ at an Osaka university until September. I am majoring in Japanese and would like to work out here after graduation. However, as I don`t seem to have the necessary character/con fidence to strike up friendships, my speaking skills are extremely poor. Therefore I am in desparate need of one-on-one conversation practice with a native Japanese and I would want to meet in the evenings 2 maybe 3 times a week. Umeda would be a convenient place to meet but really I am quite flexible.
