Proficiency level: beginner.
I am learning chinese as my foreign language credit for high school.
I mostly want to learn conversation.
I would like to spend 30 minutes twice a week in chinese lessons, but I am flexible and open to any limitations a teacher may have.
I would prefer taking lessons from someone who has prior experience teaching and who has a structure as to how they teach. They need to be able to speak clear english. Also, I would prefer taking lessons from a woman.
Due to money restraints, I will not be able to spend $30 or more per hour.

I know very little chinese. I can say only things like 'hello' 'what is your name?' 'how are you' etc. I want to learn chinese because i love the chinese culture and am hoping to go there this year and eventually move there. I have a good ear for the language, i just need someone to help me perfect the tones. And to learn the basics and structure of the language. I would like to be able to get around in china and eventually be able to possibly hold a conversation. I would like to dedicate about an hour of lessons per week. maybe more when the money is available. I want a native teacher who is patient with experience.
