I am currently a beginner in speaking mandarin. i am learning the language because i find not just the language but the culture fascinating. I am currently in school and have many chinese students in my class that can only communicate in mandarin, it would make me happy to be able to discuss thing with them without having a translator nearby. I feel i can dedicate a good portion of my time to studying the language, i am very flexible. I am looking for a teacher that can teach me the ins and outs of this language, maybe even some of its culture.

Hello, I am interested in learning a number of languages. I am a native English speaker - having only spoken English my entire life. I am a Malayali so I would love to learn Malayalam as it is my mother tongue. I grew up in Hong Kong, so although I am somewhat used to Cantonese I do want to eventually move back to the region and Mandarin would make the most sense for that. Finally, I would also be interested in learning Hindi because of its overall use in India.
I am interested in either live lessons or lessons conducted over Skype. My major issue is cost so it has to be as low as possible. And I am well aware of the phrase 'you get what you pay for' but I do believe there always bargains to be had.
I am looking only for conversationa l fluency in all those languages, not reading/writi ng.
