I'm currently learning Japanese now, however I'm learning on my own, so far for 2 months so I'm still a beginner.
I wish to learn Japanese because not only is it fun to speak in another language, but it also would help me when I leave the united states to live in Japan.
Grammar is more of my problem, however I'm really interested and would spend qaulity time learning something that I will put to use so that I can live in another language besides my native one.
What I feel makes a great teacher is one that don't rush the lessons, but teach with enthusiasm and motivates the student along the way.

I AM LOOKING FOR A TUTOR IN JAPANESE FOR MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. SHE HAS HAD AN INTRODUCTION TO THE LANGUAGE THROUGH ANOTHER TUTOR WE LOST TOUCH WITH DUE TO MOVING. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAVEL OR PAY GAS $ FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN COME TO US. MY DAUGHTER WILL BE STUDYING ABROUD NEXT SUMMER AND SHE NEEDS TO HAVE 6 MONTHS DOCUMENTED TUTORING IN THE LANGUAGE SO SHE CAN GO. PLEASE HELP...THIS IS A HARD LANGUAGE AND SHE HAS BEEN AT IT 2 YEARS OFF AND ON, BUT STILL IS HAVING TROUBLE GRASPING. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
