Summary:
-With the goal of helping every student to learn practical Chinese in an efficient way, I have been teaching Chinese online as a second language over 15 years.By far I’ve 1-on-1 helped more than 100 students in different levels from 30+ countries.
-Besides online lessons, I have a homestay and organic farm in the countryside of Guilin for those who are interested in immersive language learning and Chinese cultural/rural life experience. Discounts will be offered for students who are taking online lessons.
-Systematic courses and tailored design. Most of the teaching materials are designed and made by myself according to students' needs/levels/interests.
-I take and make videos from daily life for teaching materials as well as for sharing Chinese culture.

Program Description

【PROGRAM 1】: GPA Course
GPA(The Growing Participator Approach) is an interesting language learning approach suitable for both adults and kids. Different from regular learning methods, it uses pictures, real objects, kids’ story books, fairy tales, cartoons as well as life experience as the teaching material, which makes the learning process more interesting and learning result more effective.
This is the course for students who are aiming at oral Chinese/practical used Chinese. GPA will offer all the materials be needed in the class and with very clear session guides. Students would be able to speak Chinese fluently and naturally without struggling with the grammars.There are 5 Phases in total.
【PROGRAM 2】: HSK Standard Course
The HSK Standard Course which is published by BEIJING LANGUAGE AND CULTURE UNIVERSITY PRESS will be used as the teaching material. There are totally 7 text books.
This is the course for students who'd like to get the HSK Certificates for applying schools/universities/jobs in China. You will learn phonetics and grammar systematically with lots of great exercises after each lesson.
【PROGRAM 3】: Business Chinese
This program is for students who learn Chinese for work/business purpose. The teaching material will be made by myself according to your needs and industry/profession. For beginners, new words/sentence structures will be based on pictures/situational stories such as Taking a taxi/Bullet Train/Flight,Ordering food in a restaurant, Checking in/out in a hotel etc.
The Wall Street Journal (Chinese edition) or other latest articles from medias will be used as the teaching material after you have some foundation. Before each class, I will choose the news or other articles and pick up the new words for you to preview.
The advantage for this program is that the vocabulary is quite extensive and you will have chance to review them again and again. Finally you will be able to read documents at your work.
◆As the curriculum will be tailored designed, these 3 programs can be combined according to your situation and requirements.
