I want to learn Chinese because most of my class mates are Chinese and I want to be able to converse with them. I am studying in APIIT UCTI university and I have come from India.
I am at a beginner level in Chinese, Mandarin. Actually even beginner is inappropriate , I can hardly understand a few words, and my speaking skills in Mandarin are bad.
My holidays will be starting in June 2010 so I can dedicate as much time as it takes to learn the language properly and to become fluent in speaking.
I am looking for a teacher who can work with beginners and teach them step by step. Also a teacher who has some form of experience teaching beginners. Also I would like it if my teacher had a flexible time schedule.

I am to visit Beijing in May. I am a beginner. I would like to learn to read and pronounce pinyin. I would like a 2 hour lesson next week. I will continue with lessons when I return from China in June.
