I need to learn Mandarin for my job. I currently travel to China quite frequently and need to have a better understanding of this language when trying to speak and read it.
I'm a beginner. I need training in all facets of the language (e.g., grammar, conversation, etc.).
I would like to dedicate these lessons for one day each week for 1-2 hours.
I would like to have a teacher who is proficient in the language especially for business purposes but I will also need assistance for social interactions also.

I want to learn Chinese because i lived in Singapore for 3 years, and would like to go back, having local language as a skill. Moreover, i used to learn Japanese, and to learn Kanji, i need to know Chinese.
i will be a complete beginner, so would need to learn everything.
i wish to have 2 to 3 hours per week.
I hope my teacher will have the natural teaching skills, understanding the area of improvment that we need and focus on what is important to learn - efficient teaching, also patient and helpful.

I visited China with my family last December and I fell in love with the country. As China is a booming economic power, learning the language will be of great help in the future and I am also personally very interested in learning Chinese.
I would like to have an hour of lessons everyday (if that is possible). I am looking for a teacher who knows when to give pressure and to loosen up a little.

My husband recently was offered a job in Shanghai. We will be moving towards the end of February and need to gain as much knowledge of the language as possible. Neither of us have any experience speaking chinese so we will be starting from scratch. We both have studied other languages so we know how difficult it can be and how much time is involved. We are hoping to be able to meet twice a week in the evenings after my husband gets off work. We would love to start as soon as possible, it will be very helpful in his job as well as our overall living experience in Shanghai if we can leave with some conversationa l chinese under our belt.
