I am very interested in learning KiSwahili. The reason are personal and eventually, I would like to move into a field dealing with using the language. My current proficiency level is very basic (some very basic words and phrases and concpets). The time that I want to dedicate to the 1-1 lessons is maybe no more than once or twice a week, and the rest as personal study time. I would ideally like someone who is a native speaker who can teach me the effectively to speak at a conversationa l and possibly business leve of the language.

I will start at beginner's level. My objective of learning Swahili is to assist me to communicate with the local people of Tanzania as I will be away for 1 month to do volunteer teaching. I would like to have more focus on conversationa l skills.
