I am a Danish citizen resident in Kenya. I want to be able to do swahili conversations and understand swahili on the news and reading newspapers.
I speak English fluently.
I am doing Duolingo lessons but need to practice, learn and understand. I am not at beginners level, do understand some basic swahili.
I want in-person lessons in Ongata Rongai, preferably classes of 3-4 learners.
Fo r the time being I can dedicate 1-2 hours per week for lessons plus time for homework.

I have a masters degree in Humanitarian Studies and have completed to Critical Language Scholarships in Kiswahili. I would like to continue learning Kiswahili because I love the language and it would allow me to work and be of service in East Africa. I am between a Beginner High and Intermediate Low fluency. I need improvement in more complex grammar, conversation, and reading/writi ng. I would like to meet 1 time per week for a couple hours. In a teacher I look for someone who is patient, kind, and with a sense of humor.
