Learning to speak Chinese (Mandarin) was part of my previous undergraduate program. This meaning that I spent 4 years learning how to speak and write Chinese. I graduated in 2008 and I have unfortunately not use my Chinese that much since. I really do want to use my language skills; be able to have a proper conversation, read newspapers, and keep myself updated. However by now, my memory of the language is quite vague. I feel very insecure about speaking Chinese at this moment and need a teacher(fudao )that can encourage me and help to improve my conversation/ grammatical skills once again. I would prefer to have private lessons 1 to 2 times a week if possible.

After several years in Singapore I have come back to spend time with my family. I am hoping to head off again to China at some stage in the next several years and would like to find a tutor to help me build on my conversationa l mandarin.
I have lots of resources but am lacking in direction and speaking skills.
