I want to learn siome Mandaring to better navigate my work (investments) in China, and want my two daughters who visit at Xmas and Summer to learn the language.
We are beginners, they learn fast, I am slow. We speak English, German and Spanish, and also consider an exchange of skills (and pay a bit less for the classes).
Lo oking for someone flexible time wise, to accomodate my travel, is available in December and throughout the year at non-regular intervals. Some weeks intense and as much as availble and others less.

Hi!
I've studied Chinese in Shanghai for 3 months now. The thing is that in class I don't get that much oral practice and practice in grammar that i want. Therefore I am looking for a private teacher to practice mostly grammar and conversation with.
I would like to have 2-3 lessons a week, about 2 hours at a time.
I am looking for a patient teacher that can explain grammatic rules and differences between two words, that for me looks the same, in depth. I would also like the teacher to come from another region/city than Shanghai.

I took 2 years of Chinese in college and live in Shanghai now. I want to increase my writing and reading ability. Since I work full time, I only have 2 hours at night or half days on weekends for lessons. I am hoping to find a teacher who is very efficient with lesson plans and experienced in teaching. Also, I am looking for a Cantonese teacher as well, since I have some Cantonese blood and think the language is quite fun. Thanks!
