I spent some time in Tanzania a few years ago and loved it!! I took some Swahili classes after coming back but have stopped for 1.5 years. I would love to get back to learning the language as some day I hope to go back and practice at least part time in East Africa. I'm most certainly a beginner as I've lost a lot of the language I had previously learned. I need particular improvement in my conversationa l skills. It's much easier to read a sentence and take the time to review the grammar but synthesizing it is very difficult. I would like to dedicated about an hour a day to learning Swahili (not lessons every day but studying). Perhaps a lesson 1-2hrs a week.

Dear Sir/Madam
I am a student of Politics at the LSE in London and am looking to learn Swahili this year. I spent five years in Tanzania as a child and would like to return there to work in the future. My friend was also teaching there last year and she is also looking to learn Swahili with me.
We are beginners and have only got a basic understanding of the language. We would like to focus on conversation and spoken Swahili.
W e would both like to learn together and are interested in having around one 1 hour lesson a week. What would you charge for this?
