I am interested in learning Chinese mandarin as a foreign language as I am currently living in Chongqing, China for a whole year teaching English and would like to learn the language to integrate into the culture. My proficiency level is beginner and I only know very little Chinese. I feel I would need improvement in all areas but mainly the speaking. I would like to dedicate maybe 1-2hrs a week for lessons. I would prefer one to one tuition with my tutor and a teacher who can take the time to go over key vocabulary and phrases with me.
