I have studied 4 years of Spanish in high school.
My current job requires me to travel and work in South America. Portuguese is the language I am studying now, because I travel to Brazil the most and find their language and culture very intriging. I would consider my level intermediate, since I can carry a basic conversation in the restaurant, hotel, airport, etc... I am looking for possible one on one teachings when I am home, and have study materials when I am traveling. Hoping to find a teacher that can broaden my grammer, constructions of sentences, verb conjugations as well as accent. There could also be a possibility of moving to Brazil to further my career with my current employer. Current Portuguese study courses - Living Language & Rosetta Stone.

I am a beginner in Portuguese. I don't know all that much, only some expressions. I want to learn more because I have a friend in Brasil whom I recently went to visit and I plan on visiting again for months at a time. I want to learn how to have a proper conversation and I want to be able to understand others who are speaking to me. I am able to dedicate a few hours each week to reach this goal. I want someone who can answer my questions easily, someone who understands how difficult it is to teach a language to someone and someone who takes the care and time to actually teach me what I need/want to know.
