I want to learn japanese to improve my japanese grades at school. I have some basical understanding of japanese so probably intermidiate level. I think I needd to improve myself in all areas esp. Grammar and vocabulary. I think an hour or two per class in good. The qualities I want in a teacher is to be able to teach me throughly.

I am an absolute beginner in Japanese but I would love to learn the language so I can one day live there, or become a translator of sorts. I would want to spend around three hours a week? Maybe more more or less on learning it, depending on how fast I can learn it, or if it sinks in etc. Hopefully my teacher will test me so I learn quickly and is also a nice person.

I'm have been studying Japanese on my own for some time out of interest in Japanese history and literature. I have no problem with kanjis but found it difficult when it comes to grammar and coversation. I have built the start-up vocabulary and have beginner to intermediate knowledge of grammar. I want to dedicate as much time as I can this summer and hopefully I can take the JLPT 2 or 3 test. Im looking for teachers who can help me with my conversation and grammar.
