I'm planning on learning Japanese as I am fond of their video games and anime. Also, I'm only fluent in Arabic and English and would, very much, like to be fluent in 1 or 2 more languages.
I have no experience when it comes to the Japanese language, so I'll be starting from Scratch.
I'm currently working Full-Time everyday of the week, so I can only afford about 6 hours of classes a week and maybe 4 hours of personal studying time.
The thing I would appreciate most in a teacher is having structured means of teaching where I wouldn't get lost in all the material. The second most important thing would be that the teacher has no accent. I aim at speaking as the natives do when I'm done with my classes.

Hello - I would like to learn Japanese intensively as my husband is now working in Tokyo and I have been spending half time back and forth between Hong Kong and Japan. I have taken lessons for more than half a year many years ago but would like to get up to speed and be able to converse day to day very quickly.
I would like to have at least 2 lessons a week so that I can improve very quickly. However, every 2 weeks I will leave HK and stay in Tokyo for about 2 weeks - I would also like to have some study materials so that I can learn during those 2-3 weeks I'm out of the country. I can be quite flexible with my lesson schedule - but have to be after work Mon to Fri and anytime on weekends.
The teacher needs to be diligent in preparation of the lesson and demanding (esp with pronuncation) . I would like to be given plenty of opportunities to create sentences in day to day situations, and not just referring to textbook. I prefer female because I'm primarily learning day to day conversations (as a female) - although male is fine as well; native speakers only.

I'm a student at NHCC, which doesn't offer Japanese language courses, so I'm looking for a tutor to help me improve my skills. I'm going to be majoring in Japanese Literature further on down the road, so I'm trying to get a solid foundation before I transfer to the University of MN.
Next summer, I'll be studying abroad in Beppu, Japan. I'd like to improve my skills to an intermediate level by the time I get there.
I'm looking for a tutor that can meet face to face, about once a week, until May 31st; my takeoff date.
