I need a Mandarin tutor for my two boys age 15 and 12.
They used to study Mandarin in school in the Philippines but since moving here in Bangkok last June 2005 they have not study it.
They need to learn to speak Mandarin and do more conversation.
Three times a week for two hours per session from July to August during the summer vacation or whatever is recommended.
I am looking for a teacher that has patience, creativity and innovativenes s in teaching Mandarin where the kids will not get bored and kids will want to learn more. Practical application and conversationa l Mandarin.

Earlier this summer I took a six-week intensive course in Mandarin that focused mainly on reading and writing. I would like to improve my speaking and listening abilities before I study abroad in Beijing in the Fall. I will be in the Philadelphia area for 2-3 weeks and I would like to meet 2 or 3 times a week until I leave to improve my conversationa l Mandarin. I'm looking for a teacher who will teach me useful phrases and help me with my pronounciatio n, as well as provide me with language exercises so I can practice between sessions. Most of all I am excited about Chinese language and culture and I love to learn.
