I have recently been to China for a software project and have acquired a basic knowledge of Mandarin. I know basic words, grammar and phrases and can read about 75 characters.
I would like to maintain and expand my knowledge of Mandarin, as I will be returning at least twice within the next year.
What I lack is a good listening knowledge - understanding what is said to me. I also need to polish my tones.
I am looking for about 10 sessions to start, about twice a week for an hour. One of the sessions should be on the weekend, but that's no absolutely necessary. Any sessions during the week would have to be in the evening.

I would like to begin and learn Cantonese, and perhaps even Mandarin. I have never studied the language before, so I would be an absolute beginner. My reason is purely educational and for my own knowledge. I have always wanted to learn the language, and I hope to find a way to accomplish this through this site.
