A language training company is in need of part-time Portuguese tutors. We have two adult students who will be moving to Brazil in January due to work-related purposes. Both students are beginners and will need basic conversation and survival skills. The location of the lessons will be in downtown Pittsburgh and Cranberry Township. Private lessons will take place twice per week, preferably Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am-12:00 pm, at each location. Lessons to start November 30th and last through the end of December.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 year Portuguese teaching experience. Native or fluent Portuguese proficiency. Bachelors degree, certification or related education preferred.

I have recently been transferred to Manaus due to job needs.
Even when I speak spanish (native language)and it is easy to barely understand portuguese, I need strong skills in portuguese conversation and proper grammar.
I plan to dedicate 3 to 4 hours per week until reaching strong skills in portuguese.

Im a beginner, I have also had classes since 7th grade but never really learned anything except some basics. I would like to learn for when i start a career and also so I can be able to talk to family, friends, and others if needed. Im willing to dedicate time from 3-5 pm (my time zone) for the language lessons. Qualities im looking for in a teacher is patience; and alot of it, for lessons im looking to learn anything and everything about the language.
