I am an intermediate- level mandarin student, looking for a tutor to assist me with the equivalent of third-year chinese. I have been learning mandarin at a university in the United States, and will be studying in Beijing during the summer of 2008. I am looking for help with all aspects of the language - grammer, writing, and conversation. I am an American currently working for an NGO in Geneva, Switzerland. I taught English and studied Chinese for over a year and a half in Tianjin, China and have the opportunity to go back to China this summer for a temporary job. To prepare for the trip, I would like to brush up on my Chinese skills, focusing on speaking, listening and some reading.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient and enjoys discussing a variety of topics. I prefer that the teacher speak only Chinese with me to get a full immersion experience. I am available T, W or Th evenings.

Greetings,
I am about to enter my 3rd year in the University of Toronto (Mississauga campus) pursuing a B.A. Honours in Economics and Political Sciences.My proficiency level in all the languages I want to learn is that of a beginner. I don't possess adequate knowsledge in either French, Spanish or Mandarin and would like to learn these languages.
I want to develop my multilingual skills for my career advancement and I desire to be more competitive with these skills in the global arena.
I believe I will be needing full help in all fields including grammar, conversation etc.
Owing to my summer courses in university I would love to devote about 2-4 hours a week .
I would expect my teacher to be really friendly and proficient with their language and a person who can help me clear all my doubts in the particular language.
