I was born in South America, but my grand Parents where from Barcelona, Spain. I expent all summers, winters, all vacations in Europe, and most of the time in Barcelona, but never spoke Catalan. My accent is the Spanish accent, since my father was from Barcelona, and of course I growth with him and the spanish culture...
I am a professional in the aviation industry, and live by myself in Naples, FL. A week ago, I broke a cuboid bone in my right foot, and looks like for the next two months I will have some extra hours, which I want to expend in learning wihich I consider my real mother language, Catalan...
I will consider lerning through the internet, but I will prefer a live teacher if it is feasible...

The purpose of me learning Spanish is mainly for traveling. I had traveled to South America, and planning to travel to Spain and South America again.
My proficiency level is at beginner. Even I had taken a course before, with books and teaching material, it is hard because there is no one to practice to. I feel I am lack of conversationa l language. I am more interested to learn conversationa l language instead of classroom courses.
A s I am working full time now and long hour in the week day, I could only spend 2 hours in Saturday for this purpose.
I am looking for a teacher who loves to talk, tell me thing (in the language I am going to learn) about Spain, the culture and everything. Well, I would have to be honest that Spanish to me is not easy, so it might take more time with me. Thus, patience would be helpful.
