I am looking for a Vietnamese language teacher for my 2 children (ages 6 & 8) whom can travel to my home in Elk Grove for lessons. We speak English at home, however, I am Vietnamese & wife is Korean. I think a 2hour lesson per week is adequate, but am open to the instructors opinion. I wish for my children to be able to conversate & read simple everyday Vietnamese, like myself. I prefer a female instructor experienced in teaching young children, and with a clean criminal record.

I am very interested in learning the vietnamese language. I would like to pursue a career with Cathay Pacific Airlines and one requirement, among many, is to be fluent in either Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Japanese language. I am a beginner. I love to learn new things and enjoy a challenge. I currently work full time as a Medical Assistant, but am very willing to dedicate as much time as possible to my lessons. I am looking for a patient and dedicated teacher who will teach me efficently and will help me reach my goals. I feel a personal tutor would be best.

My native language is english, yet my existing learning priority is necessitates acquiring a the eloquent mastery of the Vietnamese language for business purposes. I would like to learn Vietnamese to enable effective communication through the course of conducting daily business.
Because a mastery of the Vietnamese language mandates the utilization of appropriate tone, inflection, rhythm, emphasis, grammar, vocabulary and conversation, the success of my business rely on my mastery of its words. I will be using Vietnamese during the course of normal business, therefore I will be requiring a language teacher who would be able to assist me in learning and speaking the Vietnamese language in an 'eloquent manner'. My ideal teacher must be a female, tolerant, understanding , pleasant yet demanding. I am seeking a teacher on Monday and Tuesday evenings or Sunday afternoons for a total of (4) hours a week. I will compensate you at a rate that is competitive with what you are worth.

My level is somewhat low, mostly a beginner.
I want to learn this language because this is my home language, and it seems that I'm losing it as I speak more English. Also, I would really like to use this language in the future when I get more involved with other people like myself. It'll help me understand my family, and future families I wish to get to know as I grow up.
The areas I need help on are conversations and grammer, I really struggle on those and parents sometimes have a hard time understanding me.
I would like to dedicate the weekends to have my lessons. I would say 2-3 hours per day on Saturday and Sunday if possible.
In a teacher, I would say an easy going teacher that would give encouragement and that is not very strict. Just knowing the teacher enjoys what he/she does and really gives encouragement .
