I'm an expat living and working in Bandung since last two years. I'm always in contact with persons that speaks English it is difficult for me to learn a decent Bahasa Indonesia (I'm also lazy maybe). But now for me it's time to learn since i need to communicate more also with people not speaking English.
I know some basic Indonesian words but i can say that I'm at a beginner level.
I would like having face to face lessons in Bandung, normally could be on Saturday morning and one or two additional lessons in the working days after working hours at 7.00-7.30 pm.
I had some lessons when arrived here at the beginning, but the method used was not efficient according to me.

I am a university lecturer (linguist) of German at a big state run university in Bandung since 5 years and like to improve my Indonesian language competence which is intermediate at the moment (i read indonesian political magazines, novels and a lot of B.A. thesis (Skripsi) of my students in BI.
I am looking for a well trained language teacher and that means a person who is not only experienced in teaching BI but holds a certificate as a language teacher and so has theoretical linguistic knowledge concerning BI (Just mother tongue speakers of BI are enough around me in my daily live!)

Hi, Im a Australian citizen, currently in Bandung for my third time. Iam very interested in improving my Indonesian speaking skills, as Iam considering to teach english here and would also like to be able to communicate fluently among friends.
