I am a beginner.
I'm not sure why I want to learn Ukrainian. I lived in the Czech Republic for a year and made quite a few Ukrainian friends there. I'm interested in learning a language that uses a non-Roman alphabet. I am also toying with the idea of going to like in Ukraine.
I need improvement in everything, though grammar is probably weakest. Ukrainian shares some vocab with Czech, so I already know some very basic words.
I'd like an hour or two a week.
My teacher should have experience teaching language, and he or she should have some solid language learning materials.

I will be studying in London, England, for the next two years and I would like to travel around Europe and eventually sail around the world. I need to learn as many languages possible... The top 5 languages are 1. Ukranian 2. Russian 3. German 4. Farsi. 5 Mandarin.
I have a Russian penpal and a Ukranian penpal and I would like to learn these languages first.
I am a beginner, I have only just begun the Pimsleur Language programs for Russian and German. I would like a teacher that would be interested in teaching me in person for the summer and then keeping in contact via e-mail or phone for the rest of the year.
