I am a beginner and have no previous experience with the language. I want to learn Swahili because I will be spending two months in East Africa (Jan & Feb). Hi there!
I'm looking for a teacher/tutor that knows swahili spoke in East Africa, Tanzania. I just got back from living in Bagamoyo for six months (a village on the coast of the Indian Ocean in Tanzania). I plan to go back in about one year and when I do so, I want to be fluent in Swahili! I did learn some while I was there, but not from a teacher. So I need help with grammer and rules mainly. I would like to get tutored as much as I need to to learn the language! I was thinking once a week for as long as a year possibly!? Hope to hear back from someone soon!
