Hello, my name is David. I wish to find a good teacher that will be able to teach me to speak Russian. I have had great difficulty in finding anyone that can help so far. I am a quick learner however and very determined student. I am a working person and lead a busy lifestyle however I am prepared to do what it takes to learn. I was hoping to fit in maybe 1-3 lessons per week depending on the cost involved. When I was learing Mandarin my tutor used to give me the basis of the next lesson on CD so that I could familiarize myself with the content. I found that most helpful and enabled me to get more out of each lesson.

The languages I have put down are not ones that I am currently learning but ones that I would like to learn. I am unable to study all the languages I want to through university so I need to find language teachers.
I am a beginner in all the languages listed above (though I may know a word or two!) and am intersted in learning spoken and written language with emphasis on grammar to gain a better functional understanding and use of the language. I would be available about once a week, and am looking for affordable lessons (that is, less than $40 a lesson).
And I'd of course like a teacher who's friendly and approachable, and wouldn't make me cry :).
