Hello
My wife and I are travelling to Moscow and St Petersburg in August 2012. We want to be able to exchange common day-to-day courtisies with people, ask directions, find subway stations , order food etc.
Our existing knowledge level of Russion is NIL.
Apart from the need to recognize major signs we do not see a need for reading or writing skills in Russian.
We are looking for lessons for the 2 of us, on the North side of Brisbane.

I have a Ukrainian fiance and want to be able to speak with her and her family. I have a very basic understanding of Russian and now want to take this to the next level.
I would be prepared to have both online and live lessons. I intend on visiting again in March/April 2012 and I would be available for a 2 week intensive period. Preferred cities would be Odessa, Nikopol, Nikolaev or Maruipol.
I respond better to a fun delivery style.

I wish to learn Russian as a second language purely out of interest. In the future I hope to travel to Russia and would enjoy the experience, I think, to a greater extent if I spoke fluent Russian. I am a beginner. I would dedicate one or two lessons a week within my routine and practice in my own time to learning Russian. The qualities that I am looking for in my lessons are that of steady progress and a pace that is best suited to my learning style. I would benefit most from a patient teacher.
