I am planning on traveling across Russia this summer. I speak basically no Russian but have taught myself the Cyrillic alphabet (print, not handwriting) and have extensive experience in learning other languages, including German.
Of course I want to learn basic travel phrases, but I want to go a bit beyond that to basic conversation, reading, and grammar. Lessons would be about 90 minutes once per week, with assigned homework (ungraded, just to give me some reinforcement ). I have a textbook we can use.

I have dating a Russian speaking woman from Ukraine for 3 years. She speaks some English of course. But it is fair that I learn some Russian also.
In the three years I have been to Ukraine several times, Donetsk, Kharkov, Odessa. And have learned very little. So me words some phrases.
I will be in Kharkov next week for 10 days and would like to meet for some private classes, and then continue via internet.
