Hello,
I am looking to learn Brazilian Portugese in Montreal. I am fluent in French and English but have no knowledge of the Portugese language. I plan to visit Brazil in a few months, and want to be able to hold a conversation. I am a fast learner, and would like to learn between 2-4 hours a week, starting as soon as possible. The most important thing for me to learn is conversation.

I want to learn portugese ( from portugal) because I'm half portugese n half pakistani but lived in pakistan for 9 years so learned urdu but never learned portugese as I left when I was only 5. My grandparents would love for me to be able to speak in portugese with them and its about time I learn the other half of my self. I'm a fast learner, learned french in 6 months, and am looking for a teacher, school that can offer first the basics and then allow me to practice, practice, practice because I want to able to speak portugese fluently by the time I'm done my training. I go to university so am also looking for very flexible timings for my lessons.

To who might be interested,
i'm looking to find portuguese lessons, spoken and written, i am beginners level but speak spanish fluently. I would prefer to have the courses in a small group, once or twice a week, starting september 2004. My need comes from personal interest in this beautiful language and the interest of enriching my abilities.
