Hello, I am interesting in learning Brazilian Portuguese from a tutor, in person.
I learnt the language as a child but have long since forgotten most of it. I would like to learn to speak casually with professional contacts. I am very motivated and would like to learn to speak very well.

I am married to a Portugeuse citizen and have been wanting to learn Portuguese for several years now. We are bringing up our daughter (1 years old) to be bilingual - English and Portuguese. I speak Englsh to her, my husband speaks Portuguese. This has spurred me on to make sure I learn the language, so that I can understand their conversation one day.
I need to have person to person classes or be part of a class, but it must be close to home - either Stevenage or a nearby town/village.

I will be taking up a teaching post in Mozambique in the autumn and would like to learn at least a little of the language before embarking on my adventure. I will be teaching English as a foreign language to students from 7yrs to adult.
My grammar school education taught me French and Latin, so I'm at least on the right track, if a little rusty!
I work full time so evenings or the odd weekend would be preferable.

I have done 3 terms of portuguese in a london college amounting to around 100hrs. My boyfriend was portuguese and i spent alot of time there however my portuguese always let me down. I was never confident enough and didnt study hard enough even though i wanted to learn more than anything. Because I am from australia and he portugal, this caused alot of problems and we have separated even though we want to be together. I am now more determined to learn than ever for me, even if we cant be togather. I feel I have a lot of the basics but need to put it all together and become more confident. I love portugal and want to learn this language fully. I will attend lessons 2-3 times a week. I need some one who is patient and very encouraging and willing to push me too. I need converation and help conjugating verbs, probably a bit of everything. to anyone who thinks they can help I would be very grateful.
