Hi,
My daughter and I are looking for a teacher who can inspire, have patience, and get us on the right track. There is a good possibility we will be moving to Norway for a few years. We are both very apprehensive about the language, but really want to be able to speak it and understand it. I am 50 and she is 13. My husband (who is Norwegian) says the best way for our daughter to assimilate is to go directly into a Norwegian speaking school. I'm not so sure about that- it seems alot to handle, but maybe if we can get a jump start on the language here in the States so the transition may be easier for her.
The lessons would be for the two of us- online video.

I know very little words in norwegian, just by grabbing a dictionary thats all.
I want to lear norwegian because Im Mexican/Norwe gian. My dad is from Norway, and my mother from Mexico. I know english and spanish and I want to learn norwegian.
I want to learn fast and Im willing to dedicate as much time possible.

I just learned that my heritage is Norwegian/Dan ish, and am fascinated by the Scandinavian culture. I would love to learn to speak proficiently so when I visit Norway and Denmark, I will be able to speak to and understand the native people. Also, learning the language will help me in my geneology, since I am still searching for my ancestors, which is part of the reason I plan to visit Scandinavia.
I learn very quickly, and am in the process of learning French. English is my native language, and I also speak a small amount of Hebrew, which was very simple for me to learn.
I would like a teacher who is kind and patient and who has a passion for the Norwegian people and culture and who can teach me about both.
