I am interested in learning many languages, and those listed are but a few on my list. I have varying levels in proficiency in the languages that I study.
I'm looking for a genuine interest in teaching and an alertness to the needs of the student. I am also a language teacher and am interested in seeing different methods that can be used in this field.

I am interested in increasing my Korean proficiency prior to my anticipated visit to Korea in summer of 2013. I am an Korean American with rudimentary Korean language skills. I would like to work on conversationa l Korean so I can get by on my visit. I am willing to meet once a week for a minimum of an hour and a maximum of 2 hours at my home or a location of mutual convenience. I would like a teacher who has a clear methodology of teaching the language with support textbooks or materials so that the instruction is systematic. Thank you.

I am interested in learning Japanese, Korean, and in time, Mandarin Chinese. I have always been interested in Eastern Asian culture and would like to be able to understand and communicate in these languages.
In all three languages, I am relatively a beginner. I can read and write in Hangul, however, my understanding of the language is limited to a few phrases. In Japanese, I am able to have a basic conversation (Hello, nice to meet you, how are you, who, what), but I can read and write very little of the language. I have had a few Mandarin classes in the past, but I am still a beginner; I can only read and write three characters, and can have a VERY basic conversation in the language.
