My name is Amy. My primary interest in Korean is because I want to be able to communicate with my family in laws who are Koreans. They do not speak English well, so I thought by learning will help me communicate with them better. I love Korea. I began learning the Korean language a few years back from a friend's mother and since then its been my favorite thing and honestly is more important to me than any of my other studies. I am not a beginner but I don't think have reached intermediate yet, my vocabulary is minimal. I need work with conversation, I don't know if I'd say a lot of grammar, but I know I can pick that up easily. I want to dedicate as much time as I can to Korean, but I am very busy and sometimes that may end up not being that much. I really need a teacher that will promote me to speak.

I am beginning to learn Korean just for fun so outside of the Korean television that I watch, I have no prior language experience.
I would be willing to dedicate up to 10 hours a week, maybe more, on lessons/inter actions.
It 's been a long time since I've taken a language course, so I don't know my learning style, but I would be looking for a relaxed back teacher who is easy to talk to. I would need a lot of conversation practice as I do remember getting flustered when speaking a foreign language and I think that has been a huge road block for me.
