Hello, my name is Josie and I would like to learn Japanese or Korean. It should be known that I am new to both these language. My goal is to be able to have a very well rounded understanding of the language. I am learning Korean simply because I love the language and culture. Originally I wanted to learn Korean due to Korean music, but I have since expanded my views on Korean culture and I love every aspect of it.
I would say I'm at a beginner level. I can read and write Hangul, although only phonetically. I understand very basic sentence structure along with basic nouns and verbs, but I think I need improvement in all areas.
I would like to dedicate as much time as I can on my language lessons, probably up to 3 times a week (although possibly less as I have applied for a part-time job and have yet to be called back).
All I'm looking for is a teacher who is friendly and patient. A teacher who can adapt to the speed I'm learning at would be great.

I want to learn korean because I want to know the culture and go to korea one day and see the place that I am in love with. My proficiency level is beginner because I do not know any korean at all and I want to be advanced level by the end of grade 12. I need improvement in ever area of korean because I do not know anything at all. I would dedicate 2-3 hours a week for lessons and as much time until I am fluent at speaking in the language. I am looking for any teacher that is able to teach me but I would prefer a teacher about my age and is willing to answer questions.
