Currently, lamentably, I don't speak a second language. I want to learn Japanese because I am very interested in Japanese culture, and would like to travel (and maybe work) in Japan (in the future).
I am a beginner. I don't really know how much time I will realistically need to commit, but hope to start with an hour (or so) per week

Ienjoy learning the Japanese language, as it coincides with my interest in Japanese martial arts and movies. I have been to Japan once so far and I thoroughly enjoyed it, I plan on going again in the future and would like be able to communicate effectively.I would like to learn all areas of Japanese language (speaking, reading, writing).
I am still a very early beginner in Japanese.

I'm very interested in learning Japanese as I would love to participate in the JET program in 2014 and being able to speak Japanese would greatly improve my chances of being accepted into the program.
I have little knowledge of the language apart from a few common words and phrases. I would like to learn how to read Japanese script and be able to have a conversation in Japanese.
I am very dedicated to this as I really want to be accepted into the JET program next year and I am more than willing to put in a lot of hard work.
