I will be traveling to India and hopefully visiting there for a period of six to nine months. I want to learn about the culture and believe knowing how to speak Hindi will help make this more personal. I also have a desire to learn to write I believe the written language of 'Sanskrit'.
I am a beginner in proficiency.
I need improvement in both grammar and conversation.
I am willing to put in a total of 20 hours a week. This includes both study time as well as time with teacher.
I would love to have practical lessons, as well as book lessons. If possible someone who knows the culture first hand and has spent time in India.

My name is Kiran. I am 24 years old and would like to learn the Hindi Language. My parents are from Guyana, I was born in America and we all speak only English so I would like to be more connected with my culture by learning. I am a beginner but have been slightly familiar hearing the language in movies and from hearing friends speak.
