I am looking for an instructor who can teach me the fundamentals of Tagalog grammer and form sentence structures.
I can remember some tagalog phrases but not enough to engage in a proper conversation. Although, I can sometimes get the gist of what is being said from clues.
I want to learn tagalog two hrs. a day, two days a week, 1 day after the other.
Example Tues&Wed:4-6p m or 6-8pm
Exampl e Wed&Thurs: 4-6pm or 6-8pm
The instructor Im looking for should be dependable and prepared.

5. Qualities:pas sive aggressive. Pushes me beyond my limitations. I'm looking for a mentor a teacher who cares about the success of their student. I don't want to waste their time or mine. Someone who them self is emotionally, intellectuall y, and spiritually balanced. God fearing.

Hello!
I am balikbayan from the U.S. and am in the Philippines for six months. One of my goals while here is to learn Tagalog. I have studied independently and also took an 8-week intensive course that is the equivalent of one year of study. I took this intensive at the University of Wisconsin, Madision, in 2003.
Currently I study Tagalog 3 hours a day during the work week.
I am looking for a teacher who will set goals and the learning agenda with me. In my learning I want conversationa l practice, vocabulary building, and grammar.
