I am looking to learn Flemish Dutch, or basic Dutch. I want to learn for the purposes of traveling in Belgium and being able to speak with locals as well as to read books written in Flemish. My purpose is to learn more about the beers and brewing tradition of Belgium and the newly emerging craft beer scene in The Netherlands.
I am a true beginner but have studied other languages before and can look at a Dutch sentence and grasp some words and meaning from it. I have a flexible schedule and am looking for someone who is interested in helping me advance my personal and professional goals to deal with the beers and people of Belgium and The Netherlands.

My Spanish is at an intermediate level, but I need work in conversations and comprehension .

I am a complete beginner in Dutch, however, I have a little experience with German, though some time has gone by since I have had a chance to practice much. I am planning a trip to Rotterdam, and so would enjoy speaking the local language, instead of simply English. I am interested in devoting a few hours a couple of days a week, and am looking for a patient, but fast moving teacher who focuses on conversationa l fluency more then written accuracy.
