Hi,
I was born in Denmark and my real mother tongue was Danish, but we moved to Turkey (my father is Turkish, mother is Danish) when I was 6 and inevitably I forgot Danish. Now I want to learn it so that I can communicate better with my relatives and connect better with my mother. Although I can understand a little bit, I would wish to start learning as a beginner and hopefully continue until I am able to speak fluently. I expect to dedicate 2 to 3 hours a week and I prefer courses in person (in Ankara), though I would settle for online options. I expect to communicate in English (I am an English translator and proficient in English) or Turkish with my teacher (till I learn enough Danish). Please contact me if you feel you can help me relearn my mother tongue and if you are willing to take on a 31-year old student who considers herself a quick learner in languages.
