I want to learn Czech because I am dating someone from the Czech Republic and I am planning to move there in the spring of 2013. I have no Czech experience what so ever. I work Tuesday to Saturday and I can learn in the evenings. Maybe twice a week would work for me. I want someone who knows fluent Czech and someone who is interested in helping me learn the language, not just there to make money.

Hi, my name is Sandi.
I grew up surrounded by hearing the Czech language but not understood it completely. I would say I am a beginner... My father was an immigrant from Prague but didn't have the patiences to teach the language because he only has what he says is an age 10 level of Czech language. My Babi and Deda however are fluent in the language but I want to surprise them that I know our historical background. I would like to get together 2 a week in person for someone to teach me. I would really appreciate everything!!!

Although I lived in the Czech Republic for four months I picked up hardly any Czech as I was an English teacher and spent much of my time in the classroom teaching English. I would love to return to the Czech Republic but I would first like to learn the language. I am very much at a beginner level with the lanuage. I want to dedicate perhaps two hours per week to the language.
