I am a complete beginner, but would very much like to become fluent in conversationa l mandarin. I anticipate starting with a weekly lesson, and then take it from there.
I would prefer a teacher who is patient and has a sense of humour! Also one who is prepared to take things slowly, as it will all be very new to me.

I am interested in Mandarin tuition for my two boys aged 10 and 12. They have been learning Mandarin in Singapore for about 6 years up to grade 4 and 6 respectively and I would like them to continue in Australia as their school does not offer Mandarin as a subject. Basically I would like Mandarin tuition for them to possibly do it as a VCE subject though this is not compulsory but would like them to follow the proper syllabus to prepare them for it if they do eventually do it. I am looking at about 1 to 1 and a half hours per week per child to be tutored preferably at my home. I would like a teacher who relates well with children and who can make learning Mandarin enjoyable and meaningful. Thank you.
