Hello,
Wayne and I are looking for a tutor to teach us Mandarin.
We are from Australia (I am originally from Malaysia but have lived in Australia for the last 20 years)
Our proficiency level : Beginner
W hy we are learning Mandarin : We have just recently moved to Zhengzhou, Wayne is a golf professional and currently coaches via an interpreter. He would eventually like to coach in mandarin directly. I am a currency trader, teaching English parttime and would like to be convesant in Mandarin (I know basic Hokkien and Cantonese)
Areas we need particular attention :
1) Conversationa l Mandarin
2) Ability to coach in Mandarin (for Wayne)
3) Basic reading and writing in Mandarin
H ow much time we want to dedicate to language lesson :
Approximat ely 6 hours tutoring time a week.
We would like to be conversant as quickly as possible

Madam, Sir,
I will arrive in ZhengZhou about the 15th of October for a duration of approximative ly one year and perhaps more for working. So, I would like to learn chinese (mandarin) in order to better discover the country and the culture and also to be able to live by myself !
In spite of chinese lessons in my country (France), I think it is necessary to start from the beginning and could dedicate few hours per day to learn the language.
I am looking for lessons that teach me the basic chinese language and reading to be able to communicate properly with people.

I have upper-interme diate/advanced ability in spoken Chinese, but can read/write very little.
I wish to learn chinese because I enjoy it, and am considering post-graduate study in this area.
I wish to improve my oral chinese, and build a foundation in reading and writing.
I would like to dedicate 2 full days a week, and homework in the evening time.
I only want to know that my teacher can meet my needs as a student.
