I am a beginner in Mandarin. I need all the basics. I especially want help with tones and pronunciation . Grammar shouldn't be difficult for me, and I can study Chinese characters by myself. I need lessons to build conversation ability and pronunciation . I would like to have one-hour classes at least three times a week (everyday if possible), probably in the morning. beginner level. I am currently living in Shijiazhuang but will be in Beijing from June 16 until July 9 and would like to take Chinese lessons for between 4-6 hours per day while I am there. I am lloking for either a tutor who would be willing to negotiate a price for the two weeks or a school that could take me for two weeks. I have already taken a beginner mandarin course and would like to have some intense lessons for a couple of weeks in Beijing. I would like a tutor who is well organized and genuinely interested in teaching Mandarin. If you are interested we could also do some type of language exchange for part of the time. I am a 19 year old student, who has taken a year out between school and university to go travelling. I am working in Beijing at Hong-Zhi Middle School teaching English to teenagers and adults. I am a complete beginner, but I wish to learn Mandarin to communicate more effectively whilst I am in the country, and also for career opportunities later in life. I am in Beijing for another two months, and I wish to dedicate between five and eight hours a week to my language lessons. As I am working in a school, I am looking for a teacher who can provide evening classes, starting no earlier than 5pm. I would like private lessons, at an affordable price with a cheerful person who is a friend as well as a teacher.
