Hello! I am learning Estonian is hopes of doing mission work there in the future, as well as out of a genuine interest in the country and its history/cultu re. I would say I am a beginner in proficiency, as I know nothing about the Estonian language whatsoever. I would dedicate as much time as possible outside of work and school duties. My goal is to become fluent in the language and travel on a missionary trip to Ethiopia and tell them what a beautiful culture they have and how precious they are as one. I know a couple of words here and there but will dedicate as much time as needed to perfect the language. I also consider myself lucky to have a group of Ethiopian friends who are supportive and are helping me to learn. The reason why i want to lean a foreign language is because i want to study abroad for a year or two in Japan for animation! I’m also a really big fan of Japan in general! Right now I’m taking a Rosetta stone class online but a lot of the stuff i still need help on like what some words might mean. I’m still at a beginner level though. Things I need help with is the pronunciation of words and the grammar of sentences. i already spend a hour and a half just on Rosetta stone a day but i often tend to see things and say there name in Japanese to just remember them (lol i do that randomly sometimes and people are like what?!?! lol) umm I think the qualities that I’m looking for in a teacher is that I want them to understand that it takes me a while to remember stuff, and someone who i guess is really enthusiastic about Japan just as much as I am! I’m also looking for a person who will take the time and explain certain ways of saying a sentence and why you have to say it that way. Thanks!!
