I have been dating a Ukraninan for almost a year now and although he speaks perfect english, his family does not. We are planning a trip for the euro-cup next year and I want to make a good impression on his family. I'm very much so a beginner, knowing few words. I'm looking for a teacher who does not mind spending time with me to make sure I'm even learning the proper accent. I was looking to have possibly two sessions a week and was also hoping the teacher would incorperate some type of homework as well.

I am looking to learn fluent Ukrainian. This is for personal reasons; my long-time boyfriend and his family are all native Ukrainians, and I want to be able to speak the language. I have studied the Ukrainian alphabet and can understand some common or simple phrases, but i would like to learn much much more. I would like to begin meeting weekly or bi-weekly, and am looking for someone who can communicate equally well in English and Ukrainian.

Hi!
My name is Michelle. I would really like to learn Ukrainian. I want to travel there some time soon (seriously). Not just saying i would like to go there some time but i want to see where my ancestors lived and i feel like i have to go there.
So i am a beginner.
I could dedicate weekdays after 5 till 9 and saturdays 5 till whenever and sundays anytime.. I mean it doesnt have to be everyday.. we could discuss...!
I love to watch foreign films.. thats a must, lol ;)
((i only seen one Ukrainian movie with Elijah Wood in it))
I dont want my teacher to be like really strict or anything. I would like to have fun when learning a language.. and i dont mind homework. how else would i learn..

I am attempting to learn Russian and Ukrainian. I have attended continuing education classes at my local community college. I can read both Russian and Ukrainian Cyrillic, but my command of grammar and conversationa l skills need work.
I am prepared to spend 1-2 hours a week (preferably in one session) in one-on-one tutoring.
I am looking for a tutor who is a native speaker of Russian and/or Ukrainian who can teach me to speak like a native as well.
