I would like to learn basic to intermediate for travel to feel part of the language culture and understanding for personal engagement, conversation, respect and a form of some intelligence. This will be part of my travel vacation and would like a 3 month tutor for this before I leave. I can be fast with the right teacher with people I know who also speak language. I also would be interested in writing and reading. I have no prior interaction to speak of and can dedicate 2-3 days per week.

I want to learn Portuguese in order to advance my college application and carrear options. I am fluent in Spanish so that might help a little in learning Portuguese, other than that a total beginner. I would mainly like to learn how to speak the language. I can dedicate one or two hours evey day and several hours on the weekend.
