Hello,
I love the Japanese language! I love the way it sounds, I love its melody and I love how deep it can be. I visited Japan for 6 months a few years ago and learned quite a bit, but I'm forgetting much of what I've learned as I have no one to practice with here in Guelph.
Of course, I want to try and remember what I already know, but even with that, I'm still far from fluent. I'm looking to be as fluent as whomever can teach me Japanese. It's a long road and will take lots of effort, but when I go back to Japan and speak to my friends without using any English at all, I'll be happy with my progress.
If there's anyone in Guelph who can help me learn Japanese, please contact me. I'd love to learn from you!

I am learning Japanese because I would like to be able to work in Japan. This October I will be applying to the JET Program and if I am accepted would like to be prepared ahead of time.
Curr ently I am around a strong beginner/weak intermediate level. I have been studying Japanese on-and-off on my own for about 6 years.
I have a lot of work to do before I will reach my Japanese skill goals, but my biggest concern at present is more complex grammar such as if-then statements. As well, I'd like to learn about when to, and not to, use familiar/form al language.
I would like to use 1 to 3 hours per week with a teacher to learn, and use homework and extra material to practice some more on my own.
I would like my lessons and teacher to be engaging and informative. I'm a quick learner so a teacher that is able to keep my interest through and prepare enough material for the entire lesson would be ideal.

Hello there, I am a young student looking to learn more. I am able to speak beginner level Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean. I am also literate in Korean(Hangul ). I am looking to enhance my language reservoir in order to achieve my future career goals. I am mostly looking to enhance my conversationa l skills in all of these languages but, am more than willing to improve my reading/writi ng skills. I am looking to spend 1-4 hours a week with these language lessons, and I am looking for a relaxed teacher that is flexible with their schedule.

If I can at all, I would like to meet with a tutor, or teacher in person. Preferably privately. But I am willing to devote as much time as I possibly can to learning Japanese, as fluently as possible. Be it on the phone, through the computer, or in person. I'd like to work on proper pronunciation , and everyday speech. I would like to learn Japanese to start a career in Japan someday. I think it would be good for me to also learn a second language for myself.
