My friend and I would like to learn turkish - we currently do not speak the language at all but have turkish friends and would like to be able to speak to them in their language.
We would like to have lessons for 2-3 hours a week and are mostly interested in conversationa l understanding in the first instance.
We understand that turkish is quite a difficult language to learn so we would like a teacher who is patient and has a sense of hunour.

I can speak Portuguese a little. I have a house in the North of Portugal and would like to be able to communicate with the local population. I feel I have a natural flair for languages. I am prepared to spend time in studying.
I would prefer a Portuguese born teacher.
Perhaps an exchange of English/Portu guese could be possible as I am well educated.

I wish to learn Greek to a level of competency. I have studied the language on and off now for a few years. I can read and write in the greek alphabet too. I have close friends in Thessaloniki and wish to be able to converse with them in Greek rather than in English all the time.
I also love Greek music and culture.
